turns out that i have radiating bone spurs in my tibia, fiblula, talus, no cartilage left in my ankle, two detached ligaments, and a fusing articulation with my talus and calcaneous.

ok, now my laptop works-ish. yes, the ish is a very ish. i have internetish, though it is very much a pompous ass- ish / itch. i cannot load any programs such as photoshop or even hook up to an usb. damn. i have no clue as to why, but once again... damn. i have been in zombie mode in trying to catch up, sorry if i miss thanking anybody. i figured we are all big boys and girls... being as such, i am sure you guys can forgive a missed thank you here, there, or mostly if not definitely.

Well as usual, i have had several close calls lately. One of the coolest ones happened earlier this spring when i was chased down by a momma bear. I was documenting a rare wildflower south of Yosemite when i heard a "maaaahhh". Oh shit. A young bear cub was in a tree 5' above me.

Now you all have heard to stand your ground when confronted by a black bear, well... screw that!!! I have been charged by several bears, but this momma did not look like she was stopping!! SO, i ran. i made QUICK LIKE to my truck only to have momma hit my door as i was diving in. ...needless to say i ditched my gear when i took off, so all I could come up with was this...




On a lighter note, I have a new puppy! Her name is Nessie, named after the Lochness monster.

just got my laptop fixed, though i will be working in yosemite untill late next week. I hope to catch up then... maybe.
